Sometimes it’s the easiest thing in the world.

Sometimes it is the weight of a 1,000 stones.

Sometimes is misfires.

Sometimes it hits the mark, bullseye.

Communication in this age, the Tech Age, with all the new-fangled techie things that take all tone, emotion and humanity out of our words is a bitch.  It sucks and I hate it.

We, as humans, add whatever “voice” to the words we read that fit best in our head…whether the writers meant them that way or not.  As a writer, we hope beyond hope that our words are perceived in the manner they were meant.  It doesn’t always go that way.

Someone I adore and I are going thru some communication set backs right now…and it sucks.

Oh, another thing that I hate about this Age of Tech….

Because we Tweet, Facebook, Email, Text with each other in a never-ending stream of thought…we assume that we actually KNOW each other…  We don’t.  At all.  That, I think, is the hardest thing to remember in this age.  We don’t know one damn thing about our “online” friends…and they don’t know us.

We all just think we do.
